Alabama Agencies Accused of Hacking Sheriff’s Database

Three bail agencies in Mobile, Alabama are accused of hacking into the computer database at the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.

According to deputy investigators, the three bail firms were using the computer system to obtain information about inmates to get a leg-up over competitors. No criminal charges have yet been filed, but the investigation will continue.
