Bail Reduced for Couple Accused of Embezzling $230K

Houston, TX. A couple accused of embezzling more than $230,000 from the Harris County District Attorney’s office appeared in court this week. The judge reduced the bail from hundreds of thousands of dollars for each person, to $25,000 each.

Prosecutors say that the couple stole the money from a special fund set up to help victims of crime.
