Bondsman’s Tragic Death

This week brings sad news as the bail industry loses one of its own. Bizarre Fake Suicide Case in Florida

A 22 year old Florida man has turned himself into a bail bondsman after attempting to fake his own suicide shortly before the New Year.  Christopher Rehbein, the fake jumper, had his girlfriend call the police and say he jumped off a bridge.  The girlfriend was charged with filing a false report after several law enforcement agencies began to search for Rehbein. The Rocky Mount Telegram featured bail agent Stanley Griffin and restaurant owner Marcus Herring in a Christmas Day article.  Griffin, better known as “Big Grif” of Big Grif Bail Bonds, teamed up with Herring to offer free turkey lunches on Christmas at Herring’s restaurant, Cuzo.  With the help of the community, Griffin and Herring handed out over 100 meals to those in need. Some Bondsmen Offer Recession Rates
