Two KS Bounty Hunters Arrested After High-Speed Chase

After a high-speed chase through Wichita, Kansas where speeds at times exceeded 100 mph, two bounty hunters were arrested.  One bounty hunter was charged with aggravated kidnapping and carrying an unconcealed weapon while the other was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.  John Roberts, the bail agent who had hired the bounty hunters who were arrested and participated in the chase as well, was trying to arrest a fugitive wanted on city and county warrants. Merger Talk Between Two Kansas Bail Associations

According to the Kansas Bail Agents Association’s Prarie News, there are talks between the Kansas Bail Agents Association and the Kansas Professional Bail Bonds Association to become one association.
