Get Bailed Out of Jail, Steal Credit Card

A Wisconsin man found guilty of spitting in a police officer’s eye then head-butting a paramedic faces another charge - stealing the credit card of the woman who bailed him out of jail. John Thrasher allegedly stole the woman’s card before he took off for Alabama. The woman drove to Alabama to bring Thrasher back to Wisconsin. Accused Bail Jumper Says Ankle Monitor “Fell Off”

Madison (WI) police describe the ankle bracelet as being “abandoned and cut,” but the person who was wearing the bracelet, an alleged armed robber named Justin Simpson, said the bracelet fell off when he accidentally banged it on a bathroom door.
