After a high-speed chase through Wichita, Kansas where speeds at times exceeded 100 mph, two bounty hunters were arrested.  One bounty hunter was charged with aggravated kidnapping and carrying an unconcealed weapon while the other was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.  John Roberts, the bail agent who had hired the bounty hunters who were arrested and participated in the chase as well, was trying to arrest a fugitive wanted on city and county warrants.

Unfortunately for Roberts and the bounty hunters, the two people they were pursuing were not the fugitives in question.
